The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS) at Westlake University invites exceptional theorists and experimentalists to explore new frontiers where disciplines converge. Central to this mission is our distinctive dual-appointment system, which offers a primary full-time appointment within CIS and the option for a joint appointment in another department. Open Positions

1. Tenured faculty (Associate Professor, Full Professor, or Chair Professor): Candidates should possess outstanding academic achievements, typically evidenced by a tenured position or equivalent at a world-class institution.
2. Tenure-track faculty (Assistant Professor or Associate Professor): Candidates should hold a doctoral degree and demonstrate a great potential for future leadership.
