Ding Wang is a Ph.D. candidate in physics at Hong Kong Baptist University, having successfully defended his dissertation and expected to graduate in March 2025. He will join the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS) as a postdoctoral researcher upon graduation. He earned his B.Sc. in physics from the Southern University of Science and Technology in 2019. During his Ph.D., he worked on topics including spin glasses with annealed disorder and the wetting properties of multicomponent protein condensates. From December 2022 to June 2023, he was a visiting student at Theoretical Molecular Science Laboratory RIKEN, Japan, focusing on the simulation of multicomponent protein condensates. His current research interests include the dynamics of hidden order in annealed spin glass models, neural network dynamics, and topics in quantitative biology.
