The School of Science at Westlake University is delighted to announce the launch of the 2024 International Science Summer School. This short-term international program is recruiting undergraduates and graduates from around the globe who are passionate about science and eager to broaden their research experience. Our summer school offers three specialized tracks:Mathematics,Physics, andChemistry.
All three tracks feature a carefully curated curriculum that integrates academic, research, and cultural activities, with all courses taught in English by distinguished academics and scientists from both China and abroad.
Students gain both theoretical and experimental knowledge in their fields of interest. They develop hands-on technical skills by working in our state-of-the-art research facilities alongside our world-class faculty members, researchers, and graduate students. Likewise, they have the opportunity to participate in scientific frontier lectures led by renowned experts in cutting-edge topics, as well as to tour laboratories, prestigious research institutions, and world-leading companies.
Students also experience cultural immersion through visits to historical sites, traditional cultural activities, signature artistic performances, and interactive student events, to promote cultural exchange and integration between China and the world.
Upon completion, each student will receive a program certificate and a transcript. Outstanding students will be given priority admission to our doctoral programs and associated scholarships.
