Biography

Dr. Jinyi Liu obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Hunan University in 2019 and a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2025. In November 2025, she joined the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at Westlake University as a postdoctoral researcher. During her Ph.D., she applied imaging-based single-cell analysis methods to investigate the spatiotemporal regulation of microRNAs and 3' UTRs in C. elegans embryonic development. Currently, her research interests focus on exploring the driving principles of precision and robustness in embryonic development from a systems biology perspective.
